Christmas can be a crazy time of year. From shopping to family gatherings to Christmas parties to church services, sometimes it seem like our to-do list is never ending. It is our prayer that in this seemingly hectic season you take the time to reflect on the true reason we celebrate Christmas. We celebrate because our Saviour, the Creator of the universe humbled Himself to be born as a lowly baby. The One who made the sun, moon, stars, planets, you and me made Himself a vulnerable baby born in a stable of all places. This was an event that God had been orchestrating since before the world was made. In the fullness of time Jesus was born in Bethlehem. God even chose the lowliest shepherds to be the first to hear and share the Good News of our Saviour's birth. And the most amazing thing? Jesus was born so that one day He would die for the sins of all mankind. For you and me. Yes, you. You, whatever you have done wherever you have been. Nothing is too bad for the forgiveness of our Saviour. He's waiting for you this Christmas. It is our prayer that you take the time to spend with the Saviour this Christmas. Remember the manger and the empty tomb.
